In segments spread over both 'Fox and Friends First' and 'Fox and Friends,' the morning crew ridiculed Sen. Hillary Clinton for using the term 'vast right-wing conspiracy' in a speech in New Hampshire about the phone-jamming scandal in which Republican operatives jammed the phones of a Democratic-get-out-the-vote effort in the 2002 election.
Co-host Steve Doocy berated Clinton for using the term, claiming that there was no conspiracy against President Clinton when he was impeached for the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
How wrong Doocy is. We know because of the book by David Brock, now head of Media Matters, who was part of the vast right-wing conspiracy against the Clintons in the 1990s.
