Man who beheaded bus seat mate defiled body, police tape says
TORONTO, Ontario (AP) -- A police officer at the scene of a grisly beheading on a Canadian bus reported seeing the attacker hacking off pieces of the victim's body and eating them, according to a police tape leaked on the Internet Saturday.

Police shot a man five times after he allegedly killed and beheaded his girlfriend on the Greek island of Santorini on Sunday.

So why am I posting this here?
Well internet rumor has it that the Canadian incident was mind control.
Maybe as Bob Geldof sang in " I Don't Like Mondays".....
"The silicon chip inside her head gets switched to overload."
You know it's always struck me as odd that he mentions that in a song written in 1979 or thereabouts.

Or maybe the beheader was possessed by a Wendigo.
" The Wendigo is a mythical creature appearing in the mythology of the Algonquin people. It is a malevolent cannibalistic spirit into which humans could transform, or which could possess humans. Those who indulged in cannibalism were at particular risk, and the legend appears to have reinforced this practice as taboo."

" The latest sighting in Ontario (that I know of) of such a creature was back in 1997 by an American trucker near St-Catherines. So maybe all the Windigo is, is an eastern relative to Sasquatch? Again, we might never know."

As far as Santorini goes, a friend of mine took his honeymoon there and as he finished booking it, his travel agent said, " Have fun, but watch out for the Vampires."
" Greek folklore abounds with tales of the undead, the vrykolakes who are said to be particularly prevalent in the area around the volcanic island of Santorini, called by some the "Island of the Vampires"...when it's not being claimed as the site of sunken Atlantis!"

So what is it?
Mind control, Wendigo, vampires or just plain nuts?
