2012 and the End of the World

Pretty catchy title huh?
It always helps to throw "End of the World" in there somewhere.
It makes all the other conspiracy theories look lame.

Anyway, on December 21, 2012, the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar,used by the Maya civilization among others of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, completes its thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle since the calendar's mythical starting point, equivalent to 3114 BC August 11 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar. The significance of this to the Mayans themselves is unclear, however, this may represent in the Maya belief system, a transition from the current Creation world into the next.

Or it may be December 23...there's a litle debate there. Although the 23rd is Festivus...hmmmm....

So what do we REALLY know about 2012?

Well these things WILL happen...probably.....

On January 31, 433 Eros, the second-largest Near Earth Object on record, will pass Earth at 16.6 million miles. Yep, in space 16.6 million miles is close.
February 6, Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate her Diamond Jubilee. Mental note: Nostradamus MUST have written about that.....
April 17, The United States will cede wartime control of the military of the Republic of Korea after 50 years. For some reason that's kinda spooky to me.
May 20, Annular solar eclipse, a Sunday. Signs in the sky? Wait, no, they saw that one coming.
June 6, Second and last solar transit of the planet Venus of this century. The transit will be best viewed from the Pacific Ocean. North America will be able to see the start of the transit, while South Asia, the Middle East, and most of Europe will catch the end of it. The transit will not be visible in most of South America or western Africa.
July 27, Opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics begins in London. According to John Titor, that just won't happen will it?
November 13, Total solar eclipse (visible in northern Australia and the South Pacific). Another sky sign?
Then on December 21, at 11:11 UTC...... Winter Solstice. 11:11? Holy Crap!

Another little shake up here is Finland, France, Ireland, Mexico and the United States will all hold Presidential elections in 2012.
That's spooky enough.

Reptilian Proof? Part 2

Boreas (Aquilon to the Romans) was the Greek god of the cold north wind, described by Pausanias as a winged man with serpents between his legs.
( I'm not even gonna touch that one....)

Anyway, going a little further....
Boreas was the Greek god of the cold north wind and the bringer of winter. His name meant "North Wind" or "Devouring One". Boreas is depicted as being very strong, with a violent temper to match. He was frequently shown as a winged old man with shaggy hair and beard, holding a conch shell and wearing a billowing cloak. Pausanias wrote that Boreas had snakes instead of feet, though in art he was usually depicted with winged human feet.

Boreas was closely associated with horses ( Not Lizards) . He was said to have fathered twelve colts after taking the form of a stallion, to the mares of Erichthonius, king of Troy. These were said to be able to run across a field of grain without trampling the plants. Pliny thought that mares might stand with their hindquarters to the North Wind, and bear foals without a stallion. The Greeks believed that his home was in Thrace, and Herodotus and Pliny both describe a northern land known as Hyperborea ("Beyond the North Wind"), where people lived in complete happiness and had extraordinarily long lifespan.

The Roman equivalent of Boreas was Aquilo, or Aquilon. An alternate, rarer name used for the northern wind was Septentrio, a word derived from septem triones ("seven oxen") referring to the seven prominent stars in the northern constellation Ursa Major. Septentrio is also the source of the obscure word septentrional, a synonym for boreal meaning "northern".

UFO " Cover-up" Ending?

Has anyone noticed that the " UFO cover-up" stories are getting more and more popular?
Everywhere you look, people are coming out saying that the cover-up is almost at an end. Is this a cycle? Or are people latching onto this 2012 effect that seems to be spreading?

The United Nations has designated the year 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Whether this was purposeful or just a coincidence, it lines up perfectly with their alleged plan to encourage disclosure of information about the UFO phenomenon next year. After one or more meetings and briefings on the subject were allegedly held in February of this year, I made a number of inquiries and have been astonished at the results.
