"Suit Claims Remote-Controlled Charges Are Planted On 747-400s
Field McConnell flew for the Navy for 22 years, and has spent 28 years flying for Northwest Airlines. But he's making public accusations that Boeing and his own union are part of a conspiracy to plant remote-controlled explosives onboard the very 747-400 airliners he flies.
In his postings on a 9/11 conspiracy theorists website, the Minnesota rancher claims the 9/11 terrorist attacks are being covered up. As you might expect, representatives of the alleged conspirators are running the other way as fast as they can.
Air Line Pilots Association spokesman Pete Janhunen thinks McConnel sounds troubled. 'Our senior lawyer and senior engineer both said that on its face, it’s an insane complaint.'"
