Are Pyramids The New UFO?

Have Pyramids become the new UFO shape?
Or are all the hoaxers just jumping on the bandwagon?

On YouTube there are videos of pyramid shaped UFOs from Moscow, China, England and Mexico.
It appears the saucer is dead now.
Okay I know not all the shapes are exactly pyramids.
Some are more like octahedrons, but you see what I mean.

And yes, looking at it with a skeptical eye, you can find all kinds of reasonable explanations for these.
Kites, balloons CGI etc.

But what sticks in the back of my mind is that when I saw the plane hit that tower on 9/11, all I could think was,"That looks fake, like it came out of a movie".

But why pyramids now?
Is it some kind of Stargate references?
I'm no CGI expert, but wouldn't a saucer shape be easier to fake than a pyramid?

I notice we haven't had one over New York City yet.

And that's another point.
With something that massive just hovering there, wouldn't there be thousands of pictures and cell phone videos from different angles?

Maybe not.
Last year I watched a white triangle hover in the sky for about 5 minutes while I was standing in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
It was clear as day, and I just stood there looking up at it while peole filed past on foot and drove by me, not a single one looking up to see what I was looking at.
To this day I have no idea what it was...but it was triangular.
And no, my cell doesn't have a camera.

But wouldn't interceptors be scrambled?
Unless of course the object was cloaked to radar.
Then all they would get is a bunch of confused phone calls to the local police.
The police might respond, see it and call it into the proper authorities, but by then, the object would probably be long gone.

Of course all of these might be faked.
Until something lands and we all see it, I'm not going one way or the other too hard.

But here are the videos from all over the world with Pyramids.....

The Fourth Kind

The Fourth Kind movie, The Fourth Kind real, The Fourth Kind fake

And while we are talking about movies, here's another upcoming film called "The Fourth Kind".
The film is directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi and stars Milla Jovovich, Elias Koteas and Will Patton.
The Fourth Kind is about an ongoing unsolved mystery in Nome, Alaska, where there have been a disproportionate number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover up.

Of course if you get the title, you know the film maker is blaming aliens.
You know :
Close Encounter of the First kind : "A sighting of one or more unidentified flying objects"
Close Encounter of the Second kind : "An observation of a UFO, and associated physical effects from the UFO"
Close Encounter of the Third kind : "An observation of "animate beings" observed in association with a UFO sighting"
Close Encounter of the Fourth kind : "A human is abducted by a UFO or its occupants"
And there is also another....
Close Encounter of the Fifth kind : "UFO cases of lasting physiological impact, such as serious injury or death."

"The Fourth Kind" has reenactments of interviews with supposed abductees, and also has archival footage integrated into the film.
Of course all of this is woven into a story...so it will make a good movie.

In the film, Milla Jovovich plays psychotherapist Dr. Abigail Tyler.
I did a little research on that name and found this at Alaska Psychiatry Journal .org...

"Dr. Abigail Tyler, Ph.D. is a research psychologist currently conducting clinical studies in the area of sleep disorders and Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) in Nome, Alaska, toward developing more effective treatment plans for patients suffering from these related disorders. Dr. Tyler's work has been most recently published in the June 1997 issue of the American Journal Psychiatry in an article detailing her work with Dr. Samuel Burden, MD, entitled "Short-Term Behavioral Effects of Variance in Light Exposure on Suprachiasmatic Nucleus."
http://alaskapsychiatryjournal.org/entries/Dr-Abigail-Tyler-Bio.html

So unless the Alaska Psychiatry Journal is in on the hoax, she's the real deal.
Nothing in there about Alien Abduction though.
BUT WAIT, if you go into just http://alaskapsychiatryjournal.org/, you get a blank page with a header.
And add to that, at IMDb, it says that Alaska state licensing examiner Jan Mays says she can't find records of an Abigail Tyler ever being licensed in any profession in Alaska.
Ron Adler, CEO and director of the Alaska Psychiatric Institute and Denise Dillard, president of the Alaska Psychological Association say they've never heard of Abigail Tyler.
Hmmmm...smells kinda "Blair Witch" to me.

Here is the spooky trailer for the film.

The film looks interesting, but I have to call hoax on "The Fourth Kind"

Popular Mechanics and UFOs

Popular Mechanics bothers me.
Yeah I know it's almost an American institution, but has anyone noticed how they seem to jump on the debunking bandwagon every time they get a chance?
First it was 9/11 and now UFOs.
PM seems to be almost vehemently opposed to anyone questioning the US Government about anything.
And if you do, you're a nut case of just an idiot.

Case in point is their new article debunking the NASA shuttle UFO videos....

"The scenario goes like this: Its 1996; you're an astronaut and you're looking at a UFO. This is quite possibly the biggest, most game-changing scientific discovery in the history of mankind. And here you are, gliding through space in low Earth orbit, watching this alien craft dance around your video camera's viewfinder. You are not alone—there are other astronauts onboard the space shuttle, and mission control is watching the live feed from Houston. Yet not a single raised voice or mention of ETs or UFOs can be heard on the audio of this recording. Apparently, it's just another routine brush with extraterrestrial life, and another day in the life of a massive, decades-long, multiagency coverup. "
http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/air_space/4319637.html

It's good to see that at least the commenters are keeping an open mind.
And even calling PM to task about their across the board debunking.

The recent article is almost as good as their past "6 Top-Secret Aircraft that are Mistaken for UFOs"
http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/air_space/4304207.html?series=74

Yep, I'd mistake a F-117A Nighthawk for a black triangle the length of a football field or bigger.

And the Phoenix lights were military flares no matter that former Arizona Governor Fife Symington III said....

" I'm a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies. It was bigger than anything that I've ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don't know why people would ridicule it."

"It was enormous and inexplicable. Who knows where it came from? A lot of people saw it, and I saw it too. It was dramatic. And it couldn't have been flares because it was too symmetrical. It had a geometric outline, a constant shape."

"As a pilot and a former Air Force Officer, I can definitively say that this craft did not resemble any man made object I'd ever seen. And it was certainly not high-altitude flares because flares don't fly in formation."

Give us something better than flares and 69 foot long plane.

The Official History of "The RR3 UFO Specimen": CONCERNING THE ALLEGED ROSWELL UFO PIECE

This is a response to many inquiries that I have received concerning the alleged "Roswell UFO Piece" (a.k.a. "RR3") given to me on Aug 19, 1995.

Numerous bogus claims have been made "long after it was scientifically proven" that the piece was very terrestrial! Why these claims continue should be obvious to your readers. The science is in…I just checked (again!) with numerous scientists on this "find".

"The RR3 Specimen" is not a part or piece of a UFO. I now wish I had never seen the object or been a party to this seemingly endless attempt to make this object into something it is not. This includes recent statements by some that the object defies camera filming.

That's funny! Mike Portanova filmed it with great skill and beauty. In fact, most of the photos taken of it are his excellent work." But now, science and the scientists have spoken. I think its time for others to be quiet.

Royce Meyers, the "Watchdog of UFOlogy," hit the nail right on the head in his UFO updates statement recently. Royce is a cop and a good one…it was his discovery concerning the cattle mutilation on our site that opened up the find of "Pure bovine Hemoglobin" (by Nancy Talbot/Dr. W.C. Levengood).

Royce is a friend to Ted Oliphant (the Fife, Alabama cop who's brilliant work on cattle mutes left all of us wondering) and both are friends of mine. Both men are "stand up guys." Here is the entire history on this case and the FINAL results of the testing of the "Alleged Roswell UFO Object" (also known as "RR3") to date.

Former governor says he saw UFO

deseretnews.com Former governor says he saw UFO:

"Former governor says he saw UFO
PHOENIX (AP) — Former Arizona Gov. Fife Symington trotted out an aide dressed as an alien 10 years ago to spoof the frenzy surrounding mysterious lights in the Phoenix sky. Now he says he saw the lights himself and believed from the start that they were extraterrestrial.
Now a pastry chef and business consultant, Symington said he didn't acknowledge his own encounter at first because he didn't want people to panic. The former governor, who faced fraud charges at the time, also said he didn't need the additional problems such an admission would have created.
Symington discussed the sighting with a UFO investigator making a documentary, and in media interviews this week.
'I'm a pilot, and I know just about every machine that flies,' Symington, a former Air Force captain, told the Arizona Daily Star on Thursday. 'It was bigger than anything that I've ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don't know why people would ridicule it.'
Symington told CNN the craft he saw March 13, 1997, was 'enormous. It just felt otherworldly. In your gut, you could just tell it was otherworldly.'"

UFO mystery at RAF Lakenheath

UFO mystery at RAF Lakenheath

Mystery surrounds claims that jets from RAF Lakenheath were called to intercept a UFO.
UFO experts claim to have a recording which they have posted on the internet as proof that London Military Air Traffic Control contacted a flight of US Air Force
F-15s from the base, after a UFO was picked up on their radar on January 12.

But air traffic control denies making the call – and RAF Lakenheath will not comment without having more detail over the alleged incident.

Steve Johnson, features writer for UFO Data Magazine, said: "We are still looking into it and we have made a Freedom of Information request to the Ministry of Defence and have also contacted RAF Lakenheath – but they haven't got back to us yet."

Horses and Aliens

Horses and Aliens:

"Whenever I’m out in the country, I of course look up. Up at the sky. the sky this past weekend on the Oregon coast where I was was gorgeous. Stormy at times, with huge clouds scudding across the sky, with brilliant patches of blue. And all the while, I was looking up, hoping of course, to see a UFO. Night time in the country is also inviting; looking up, I always hope to see something UFO-ish. I’m greedy, I’ve seen several UFOs, but I want more. The night sky this weekend, however, was much too overcast to see anything, no stars, nothing.
And while I've seen UFOs, and hope to see more, I don’t think beyond that. The UFO part is fine. But I don’t expect to see, or want to see, beings, entities, aliens or robotic devices emerging from them. I don’t wand, or expect, to see, the UFO land. Like the horses, I’m nervous around the whole thing."

icWales - Website debunks 'Welsh Roswell': "Website debunks 'Welsh Roswell'Feb 20 2007

Robin Turner, Western Mail

A CELEBRATED UFO incident in which aliens are said to have crash-landed into a remote Welsh mountain range in 1974 may finally have been debunked.
According to contributions on the internet encyclopedia Wikipedia, the Berwyn Mountains Incident - often referred to as the 'Welsh Roswell' - was actually a combination of an earthquake, a meteor shower and poachers carrying lanterns. Supporters of the UFO theory last night hit back at the claims.
It all happened on the frosty night of January 23, 1974, near Llandrillo, high in Clwyd's Berwyn Mountains.
Just after 8.30pm, even the most solid farmhouses and country pubs began to shake as the earth rumbled with what appeared to be a fantastic impact."

IndiaDaily - Collapse of our Galaxy into 3 x 109 km radius Black Hole

"Our Galaxy contains 1000000000 Solar Masses and there are possibilities something can happen that will rock the whole universe. According to some analytic models, 2012 can mark a massive implosion that can end our Galaxy and convert the same into a 3 x 1000000000 km radius Black Hole. It is a massive Black Holes that will open right into the Hyperspace. Such big opening can cause the Universe to collapse very soon.
But there is something going on behind the scene. There is exponential increase in the UFO sighting since year 1800. The numbers keep increasing at very fast rate. According to some remote viewers, the Type IV extraterrestrial civilization in charge of protecting the earth is ready for massive shift of the civilization into safer region in the cosmos. The migration can be out of the universe into some other universe too!"

National Ledger - Pilots, UFOs and Job Discrimination

Has it been standard practice for major airlines to discourage their pilots from reporting a UFO sighting and/or going public by implying to them, in some way, that their jobs and pensions could be in jeopardy by them doing so? This is probably not something that the airlines would admit to, but we have all heard of such intimidation and fear factors to quiet employees from coming forth with reports.
We can only speculate that they practice such procedures in fear of scaring away perspective customers from using their airline service so they can remain competitive. They may also not want to be perceived by the public or their rivals as the joke airline, which employs mentally unstable pilots who are prone to seeing little green men. "

Giants in the Americas - Death Valley, California - Cavern Temple of the Giants

"Is there proof that giants once lived and raised families in North America? Stories and newspaper accounts attest to amazing discoveries of huge elaborate caves and mines, gold spears and polished granite inscribed with mystical symbols. Witnesses have reported their discoveries to the Smithsonian Institute and have been promised compensation. Yet, the Smithsonian, archaeologists and other scientists are silent as to the discoveries and have hidden all evidence that is contrary to Darwinian theory of evolution.
The following are actual accounts of giants in North America.

'Atlantis in the Colorado River Desert' - 1947 Nevada news: Near the Nevada - California - Arizona border area, 32 caves within a 180 square mile area were discovered to hold the remains of ancient, strangely costumed 8 -9 foot giants. They had been laid to rest wearing the skins of unknown animals similar to sheepskins fashioned into jackets with pants described as 'prehistoric Zoot- suits'. The same burial place had been found 10 - 15 years earlier by another man who made a deal with the Smithsonian. The evidence of his find was stolen and covered up by Darwinian scientists."

Giants in the Americas - Death Valley, California - Cavern Temple of the Giants:

American Chronicle: More strange lights and craft over Phoenix and Arizona sighted

American Chronicle: More strange lights and craft over Phoenix and Arizona sighted:

"PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Calls poured in to police and TV stations last night after many residents of the metropolitan Phoenix region observed a line of four bright lights near the horizon in the western sky at approximately 8 p.m. Arizona time.
Videotape of the lights was taken and broadcast on local TV news programs shortly after the incident occurred.
According to news reports, military officials stated the lights were flares being used as targets during Marine Corps and Air Force pilot training operations nearby.
Officials said a training exercise was being conducted by the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma at the Barry Goldwater Gunnery Range west of Phoenix.
In addition, six Air Force F-16s based at Luke Air Force Base on the west side of metro Phoenix were also participating in training exercises that involved flares, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Military flares were also given as the cause of the recent Arkansas sighting when a retired Air Force colonel and F-16 pilot with 32 years of service reported several unusual lights that he was convinced were not conventional earthly aircraft or objects.
How a veteran Air Force officer and pilot could mistake military flares for extraterrestrial phenomena puzzled many who read about that incident and the official explanation."

Carl Sagan’s Life and Legacy as Scientist, Teacher, and Skeptic (Skeptical Inquirer Janurary/February 2007)

Carl Sagan’s Life and Legacy as Scientist, Teacher, and Skeptic (Skeptical Inquirer Janurary/February 2007):

"The first AAAS symposium, in 1969, dealt with the reality of UFOs. Like many scientists of his generation, in high school Sagan had been attracted to the idea that UFOs might be visiting spacecraft. At the AAAS, J. Allen Hynek and James McDonald defended UFO studies while Sagan, Donald Menzel, and Lester Grinspoon attacked this position. The proponents on both sides of the issue were scientists, although they took very different approaches to the interpretation of the anecdotal reports of UFO sightings. (The subject of alien abductions or direct contact with extraterrestrials, which has since become so common, was not an issue at that time; the AAAS symposium focused on the interpretation of moving lights in the sky and anomalous radar signals.) Indiadaily.com - Major space agencies of the world cooperating to reveal the truth about UFOs in 2012 – why in 2012?:

"They know something interesting is going to happen in December 2012. They know the extraterrestrials will reveal themselves. They know very well the cover-ups all around the world will end. There are leaks in India from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) that all the major Space Agencies of the world are working together to reveal something that will change the way we live and believe in things soon. What can it be other than telling the truth about extraterrestrials? "

UPDATE 2013:
Didn't happen.
